On the morning of the 14th of Nisan, 5769 (April 8th 2009) Beth El Jacob gathered for morning minyan at Gray's Lake near downtown Des Moines.  There we davened and witnessed the rising of the sun where it stood at the dawn of creation.  Every 28 years the sun returns to that spot...this was the 207th time and we were there.  What an amazing experience!
